THE RUN UP
The Run Up are a 5-piece melodic punk rock band from Bristol (UK) who have carved out a strong reputation in their European scene, based on their fun, energetic and passionate live shows. The band formed in autumn 2014 and set out to have as much fun as possible.
After releasing an EP via Paper+Plastick the band released their debut LP via Real Ghost Records (EU) & Get Party Records (North America) which was very well received. In 2018 The Run Up released 'Good Friends, Bad Luck' EP via Uncle M and Real Ghost records which labelled them as ‘one to watch’.
2018 seen The Run Up complete UK and EU tours, playing with bands such as A Wilhelm Scream, Red City Radio, Iron Chic, No Trigger, Spanish Love Songs, Bad Cop / Bad Cop, Such Gold and Pkew Pkew Pkew. In the last two years The Run Up have played over 180 shows in12 countries and are known as one of the hardest working bands around.
With their new record ‘In Motion’being released in early October via Gunner Records / Real Ghost Records in Europe, The Run Up are to the road again. They have a month-long tour in USA throughout October which finished at The Fest, Gainesville before coming back to Europe.
With their roots and hearts still firmly in the DIY scene, The Run Up are progressing to become one of the most exciting bands on the punk rock scene.

TYPESETTER
Formed in 2012 by longtime friends, Marc Bannes (vocals, guitar), Alex Palermo (bass, vocals), and Kyle McDonald (guitar, vocals), Typesetter quickly became regulars on the DIY touring circuit and began building a catalog of tuneful, yet gritty songs over multiple EPs and their 2014 debut full-length, Wild’s End. As the band’s lineup evolved, so did their sound, and with the additions of Sarah Bogosh (keyboards, trumpet, vocals) and Matt Gonzalez (drums), a colorful new wash of atmosphere and dynamics began to saturate the band’s anthemic punk. On Nothing Blues, Typesetter dive headfirst into this new territory, with Palermo and Gonzalez providing the driving rhythmic backbone for Bannes and McDonalds’ walls of shimmering reverb and distortion, while Bogosh’s synths add a dreamy flourish rarely heard in tandem with the directness of punk. This eclectic mix of tones and textures--even a bit of trumpet--could be a recipe for sensory overload, but the band deftly makes room for ambitious arrangements while maintaining the unbridled momentum at their core.

WORST ADVICE
In 2018 four friends in their 30´s started a band instead of making big career plans. Less than one year later they recorded four energetic songs, driven by two lead singers and personal lyrics. The result turned into a 7“ edited by Inhumano Records.
